Right on, Target

The first couple of Target (pronounced Tar-Jay, according to cool people) stores opened in Montreal a few weeks ago, and I was more than excited to check out the home section, especially after all the tv  and magazine ads I've seen floating about.  My first visit did not disappoint, although going on a Saturday afternoon with my shopping-impatient hubby and cranky baby *might* not have been the best strategy.  Next time, a weekday visit and sleeping baby are in order. I was really impressed by the selection of home decor accents and small furniture that they carry - a lot of brass (woohoo!!) and crazy affordable.  I'm probably going to  pick up a couple of side tables for the living room - 80 bucks each is a steal in my eyes.  They had some really cute rugs in the Nate Berkus collection, but unfortunately not big enough for what I need.

Although the first visit was short-lived, I still managed to snap pics of a few favorite finds, shown below.  Have you been to Target yet?  What were your first impressions?
